Parent’s Association

If you have a child enrolled at King Academy, then you are a member of the Parents’ Association. There are two “big” Parents’ Association meetings each year. The Parents’ Association is very active, supporting the programs of the school and providing special activities such as the Harvest Carnival, Teacher Appreciation Days, and so on. All parents are encouraged to take an active part in this organization.

Publix rewards WKA for shopping at Publix. Sign up for an account at www.publix.com (make sure to enter your phone number). Select Publix Partners, and then select our school to support. Every time you check out at Publix, simply enter your phone number on the keypad, and the school will receive a percentage of your qualifying purchase.

Lowes Foods Back 2 Schools

With Cart to Class, Lowes Foods will reward local schools based on the amount of Lowes Foods Private Label items purchased. Make sure to link your Lowes Foods Fresh Rewards card to the school and we will receive quarterly checks! Stop by Customer Service at your Lowe’s Food store to set this up.

"In the spring of 2023 I was finishing my 11th year of teaching in public school. I was unhappy with my job and my 5 year old daughter was set to join me the next year as she was beginning kindergarten. A family member reached out and said WKA was hiring a 1st grade teacher. I was immediately interested! I prayed and asked God to work out all of the details if that was where our family was meant to be! Little did I know WKA also had a 3K class and my son could join my daughter and me! God worked out all of our needs! My two children and I have been at WKA for two years. We all love going to school every day! My children have thrived academically; they love learning thanks to their amazing teachers. As a teacher I feel supported by our administration, my co-workers and parents. We are so blessed to be a part of the WKA family!"
