Welcome to the W. Wyman King Academy Booster Club. All parents with children participating on a sports team are encouraged to become a member of the Booster Club.

The purpose of the organization is to support, aid, and assist all athletic programs offered at King Academy. The Booster Club contributes monies for capital improvements of the athletic facilities, uniforms, and equipment for all sports. We encourage the involvement of parents and the community to ensure athletic opportunities continue to be available to all the students of King Academy. We can provide financial assistance through our annual Auction, the sale of King Academy apparel, and revenue from gates and concessions.

We offer many ways to purchase a family membership, with the least being $30, which includes two (2) one-game passes valued at $14. Other purchasing opportunities are Knight Club ($500), Blue Club ($200), and White Club ($50 to $100). Memberships run from July 1 through June 30 of each year, but a family may join anytime during the membership year. Each membership shall have full voting privileges, with one vote per family. The Booster Club will meet once a school quarter, with special meetings being called only when necessary.

The Auction, held each spring, is the main Booster Club fundraiser. All funds raised from this event go toward the general operating budget of the WKA Athletic Department and allow the Athletic Department to make improvements to the athletic facilities, and help obtain items on our “Wish List”.

Each year, the Booster Club requests that each King family donate at least two (2) items of at least a $50 value each for the silent/live auction. You can provide these items yourself or solicit businesses for donations. If you would prefer not to send items, you may make a $100 monetary donation to be used to purchase large auction items. You may turn in your donation at any time to the Athletic Director or the school office. Please make sure you complete the donation form to receive your credit. Donation forms are available in the school office or may be obtained from the Athletic Director.

WKA Apparel & WKA Items

Throughout the school year, the Booster Club will be taking orders for WKA apparel and/or items. Usually, this will be at the beginning of each sports season. Apparel and item sales are also available at all home varsity football games.

Little did I know WKA also had a 3K class and my son could join my daughter and me! God worked out all of our needs! My two children and I have been at WKA for two years. We all love going to school every day! My children have thrived academically; they love learning thanks to their amazing teachers.
